Honestly, it looks a bit like forced remorse.

As if you knew someone was watching your reaction to a terrible event, and you wanted to show overwhelming pain.
But it doesn't seem to be sadness, it looks almost as if you are in physical pain; either from the images you see in your mind from something bad you witnessed, or something you were a part of.

The red below and the white above make me feel like you witnessed (or were a part of) a murder, which I can interpret as the red. But as you are shaded in white and the white is also above you, there is a very significant barrier between you and the terrible moment. I feel that since you are dressed in white, and the horrible moment is in red, you have somehow distanced yourself from it, probably with your pained expression.

(It's as if you are showing forced remorse for a death to show that you are innocent.)
